Good point; I read somewhere that when Jonathan Franzen was writing Freedom he actually glued the connection port to his laptop shut (pre-wireless…shows you how old this story is). But I use the internet constantly when I’m writing for reference, checking everything from spelling to locations to facts. I use Google Maps constantly to “go” places all the time.
